  • If that complexity exists, is it possible to stagger the developers' schedules

  • How does it play with the new Swift stuff?

• How does Dropbox use C++? Three tier architecture:
  • UI is platform specific, so written in Java for Android and Obj-C for iOS. Keep the UI layer super thin because that is the code you write twice. This layer allows you to have the native look and feel.
  • Language bridge: JNI for Android and Objective-C++ for iOS. Keep this layer thin. Note than JNI is not fun.
  • App logic is all C++
